Welcome to New Horizons Driving School, the Tri-cities' choice for professional driver training. Having been a former ICBC Driver Examiner and Young Drivers of Canada Driving Instructor with over 24 years of experience, you can rest assured that you or your loved one will be getting the best driver training in the industry.
I promote a relaxed and no pressure approach during the lessons, moving on to new skills when the student is ready and comfortable in doing so. At the same time, you will be taught the proper techniques and driving habits in staying safe behind the wheel. I look forward to teaching you how to drive defensively and proactively, but above all, hope to make every lesson a positive experience for you!

**Simulated ICBC Road Test**
On the first lesson, every student will receive an evaluation report to monitor these skills, to keep track of appointments, and for informative feedback (please bring this to every lesson along with your valid B.C. Learner's/Driver's License, including foreign driver's license, if applicable).

5-LESSON PACKAGE
$675 includes 7.5 hours / 5 x 90 minutes

$425 includes 4.5 hours / 3 x 90 minutes

1-SINGLE LESSON
$150 includes 1.5 hours / 1 x 90 minutes

WHERE DO YOU OFFER DRIVING LESSONS?
In the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody), including Anmore.
WHAT CLASS OF LICENSE(S) DO YOU TRAIN?
Class 7 and Class 5.
WHAT ARE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS?
Lessons are available:
Mon-Fri 9:30am-2pm & 6pm-9:30pm
Closed on Saturday
Sunday 9:30am-1pm
ARE YOU LICENSED AND BONDED?
Yes. I am both licensed and fully bonded by ICBC for your protection.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED IN THE CAR DURING MY DRIVING LESSON?
Only you and your instructor can be in the car to ensure fewer distractions and also for insurance purposes.
HOW FREQUENT WILL MY DRIVING LESSONS BE WHEN I SIGN UP FOR A MULTI-LESSON PACKAGE?
Typically, they are scheduled one lesson per week, but that is flexible depending on the student's needs.
MY PREVIOUS INSTRUCTOR WOULD ANSWER HIS PHONE DURING THE LESSON. WILL YOU DO THIS?
Never. That would be very unprofessional especially on your paid time. You will always have my undivided attention.
CAN YOU SHOW ME THE ICBC ROAD TEST ROUTES?
No. This is against ICBC policy, but more importantly, my goal is to teach you how to drive and not just memorize test routes. Also, that wouldn't be possible since there are so many different test routes used.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please provide at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations. No-shows and late cancellations will be subject to a $50 fee, so please let me know in advance if you cannot make a lesson. Thank you.
REFUND POLICY
Your tuition for any prepaid remaining lessons will gladly be refunded should you decide to cancel.
